This new century is for us a reason to introduce an idea materialized in the former century with a clear promise of future in the XXI century.

The work of the GVDA is the total of the individual efforts that try to unify concepts from the most absolute diversity and to offer services in our Community.

The aims that rule our statutes are:

- To coordinate the member association's activities..

- To become the link between the associations to maintain contacts and to supply the information interchange about their common aims.

- To promote the institutional strength of the GVDA and become the mediator between the GVDA and the public and private institutions.

- To improve our staff training in the different association.

- To stimulate the research in drugs and addictions, to promote conferences, publications, etc.

- To promote the cooperation associations for the GVDA development.

- To support the good and objective information about drug dependencies and other addictions.

- To look forward new official or private support to supply the material or human needs.

- To take part in other national or international entities that share aims with us.
